Honolulu Waldorf School, established in 1961, is a co-educational school serving more than 300 children from early childhood through high school. The original nursery through grade eight school is on a beautiful monkey pod tree-shaded campus in Honolulu’s Niu Valley. The High School, founded in 1994, is located nearby in Kahala. It is the school’s intention soon to unify the High School and the Lower School on the Niu Valley campus so that the entire school can learn and grow together. Based on the educational ideas of Dr. Rudolf Steiner, Waldorf education is now the fastest-growing independent educational movement in the world.
