The Lutheran Church of Honolulu (LCH) is a diverse, progressive congregation striving to be a living embodiment of God’s reign of inclusive love at home, in the local community, and across the globe. The Lutheran Church of Honolulu offers three different worship experiences each Sunday: contemporary worship at 8:00 AM, traditional worship at 10:30 AM (one service at 9:15 AM June through mid-August), and Compline (sung prayer by candlelight) at 9:00 PM..

The Lutheran Church of Honolulu was founded in 1900 and moved to its current Makiki location in 1953

The church is located in Makiki, on the corner of Dominis and Punahou, across from Punahou School, and there is ample parking in the church lot, one block mauka (towards the mountains) of the church on Poki Street. Bus routes 4, 5, and 18 have stops near the church at the corner of Punahou and Wilder Avenue. The church is one block mauka (towards the mountains) of this intersection on Punahou Street.

What are your hours of operation?
Sunday morning worship services are at 8:00 AM (contemporary music) and 10:30 AM (traditional choral music). In summer, Sunday morning worship is at 9:15 AM. We also have Compline (prayer at the close of the day) Sunday evening at 9:00 PM.
