LIVE THEATRE - HTY plays are designed to celebrate the unique multicultural communities in Hawaii.
Honolulu Theatre for Youth presents professional theatre for the entire family at Tenney Theatre on Oahu and for school children throughout Hawaii. HTY is the only professional nonprofit theatre in Hawaii and the largest independent provider of arts education in the State. Its education programs include school residencies, professional development for teachers and teaching artists, and theatre experiences for children. Annually, HTY produces 6-8 plays, and drama education workshops that benefit 100,000 people.
