Hawaiian Springs is known as Hawaii’s premium natural artesian spring water.
Our water is bottled within weeks after falling as rain on the slopes of Mauna Loa and naturally filtered by thousands of feet of lava on its way to the aquifer. It’s a young water with a low mineral content of 91 TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) and a slightly alkaline pH of 7.7 which gives it a soft, clean taste with a hint of sweetness. This exceptional water is also naturally enhanced with electrolytes essential for proper hydration.
Dr. Michael Mascha, a world renowned water connoisseur, lists Hawaiian Springs as one of the best waters in the world in his book “Fine Waters, A Connoisseur's Guide to the World's Most Distinctive Bottled Waters”. In February 1995, the first bottles of Hawaiian Springs natural artesian water were produced. Today, Hawaiian Springs, LLC continues to bottle “at the source” to ensure purity and quality. Our state of the art facility is located near the town of Kea’au in the Puna District on the Big Island of Hawaii.
What is your primary product or service?
Hawaiian Springs natural artesian water. We bottle this natural miracle within weeks from when it falls as rain on the slopes the world’s largest shield volcano, Mauna Loa. This water is then naturally filtered by lava rock as it travels under grounduntil it reaches our source well. This short gestation period means that Hawaiian Springs is a "young water" that has not spent years underground absorbing minerals and contaminants.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Our water is a "young" water with a low mineral content, incredible purity and slightly alkaline pH that gives it a light, clean taste with a hint of sweetness. Hawaiian Springs comes from one of the most sustainable sources on the planet. Our aquifer is the second largest in the world and has a daily sustainable yield of over 1.7 billion gallons a day according to the State of Hawaii. Drawn from this virtually inexhaustible supply, we make no demand on municipal reservoirs.
